New Video: Kendrick Lamar “Alright”

kendricklamarAfter setting off the BET Awards on Sunday with “Alright,” Kendrick Lamar has released the video for the single. The To Pimp A Butterfly song has cameos from ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul during the beginning as a snippet of a song not found plays, and the video starts. You will see plenty of donuts in cars, money being thrown in the air and dancing throughout the clip because, obviously, everything is going to be alright. The video still carries a message, but you can tell Kendrick is having the time of his life right now.

Meek Mill Talks ‘DWMTM’ Album, Nicki Minaj Relationship, Jail Life & More

The rapper stopped by HOT 97’s Ebro In The Morning, Sway In The Morning and REVOLT TV to promote the project, which Billboard reports will debut No. 1 on the album charts next week, projected to sell over 200k copies first week.

On Sway In The Morning, Meek Mill breaks down various lyrics on the new album, his recent prison stint, battling cell mates in jail, how hundreds of inmates would watch Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” video on repeat, and being an inspiration to those in jail.

Speaking more on his girlfriend Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill discussed recording “All Eyes On You” together, getting advice from her when it comes to bigger commercial records, play dates, and being a friend while Nicki was going through her breakup with Safaree.

Stopping by HOT 97, Meek spoke with Ebro and Laura Stylez on performing at HOT 97 Summer Jam, the upcoming tour with Nicki Minaj, being in a public relationship, battling raps, hate for the media, his new bike app, hobby of riding bikes, PUMA sponsorship, working with Future and Drake on DWMTM and more.

Hitting the REVOLT TV studio on album release day, Meek Mill performed various cuts off the project for the first-time live.

The pop superstar debuts the fierce music video for her current single “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Co-directed by Rihanna and Megaforce, the Bajan singer puts matters in to her own hands, kidnapping her wealthy victim in the thrilling and dramatic 7-minute short film that contains nudity, explicit language and violence. “Ya girl got director skillz!!! The concept for this piece came to me 8 months ago!!! So you can imagine how anxious I am right now!!!,” said the 27-year-old on Instagram, hours before the VEVO premiere.

“Bitch Better Have My Money” is in support of Rihanna’s long-awaited eighth solo LP, due sometime this year. Watch the chaos unfold in RiRi’s latest visual story below.
