New Video: Meek Mill Feat. Tory Lanez “Lord Knows”

meek-millSince his much-publicized beef with Drake this past summer, not much has been heard from Meek Mill aside from the usual postings on Instagram. The Philly rapper decides to drop a visual in support of his No. 1 album Dreams Worth More Than Money, the Spike Jordan-directed “Lord Knows.” Featuring Toronto singer Tory Lanez, Meek Mill steps into the ring, unleashing lyrical punches as boxers get ready for battle.

The video also features scenes from the movie Creed, starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, which hits theaters Nov. 25. “Lord Knows,” which serves as the intro on Meek’s sophomore LP, also appears on the film’s motion picture soundtrack out now.

Nicki Minaj, Engagement Ring Instagram

Nicki Minaj teased engagement news on Twitter Wednesday by sharing a diamond ring emoji with the words, “I’ll post it later,” the rapper has now revealed the bling up close .

As it turns out, it’s quite the stunning piece from Meek Mill!

“This looks like a 15-carat fancy yellow heart modified brilliant cut diamond mounted in platinum with a double halo of white pavé diamonds,” Morgan Shara of MASbisjoux jewelry told E! News. “This would retail for approximately $500,000…”

Shara added that the ring “looks like the natural fancy colored diamond trend that is continuing full steam ahead.”

A source  confirmed to E! News that the duo is in fact engaged. “Both Meek and Nicki have been spending amazing quality time together lately and have gotten extremely close these past few months,” the insider shared. “It may seem like it all is happening very quickly but Nicki and Meek are in this 100. They truly love each other.”

Perhaps all the clues that something serious went down were all over Twitter. On Monday evening, Mill shared a yellow heart emoji on Twitter. The next day, his girlfriend captioned a photo from Miami with the words, “I wish every night could feel like last night.”

New Music: Meek Mill feat. Lil Boosie “F*ck You Mean”

MEEKOne of the biggest rap upsets of the year was Meek Mill’s untimely incarceration about a month before the slated release of his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money. Within the blink of an eye, Meek was taken into custody after a routine probation hearing. The Philly native was sent back to jail back in July — and is still locked up (Missinfo.tv confirms). While we have been hoping for his release, we didn’t want to just jump on the speculation bandwagon off of a few promising tweets. So, we reached out and got the official confirmation that Meek is still incarcerated from a source at MMG.

However, tonight, Meek’s camp released a brand new collaboration with Lil’ Boosie (who now goes by Boosie Badazz officially) titled “Fuck You Mean.” The rowdy track is an early reminder of why rap needs Meek back on the streets ASAP.

Rick Ross Issues Statement On Meek Mill’s Jail Sentence

Rick Ross Meek Mill.jpgIt was all good just a week ago for MMG, but Rick Ross is committed to being the glue that keeps his crew together. Yesterday the Bawse issued a statement to MTV on Meek Mill’s jail sentence for violating his probation, which will see him spend three to six months behind bars. In it, he offers his full support for Meek during this tough time and vows to keep his upcoming album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, on track for its September 9 release.

While Ross has yet to directly address the other controversy surrounding Meek Mill — the rift between him and group mate Wale which was brought to light through a series of unfiltered tweets earlier this week — he sent out the below tweet hours after Meek’s Twitter tirade.

Read Rick Ross’ statement on Meek Mill’s sentencing below…

I created MMG years ago, my desire was to create a space where the most talented artists in the world could be nurtured and supported. With that came a commitment. I vowed to support these artist, through the good and the bad. Every individual signed to MMG is not just an artist, they are my family. And with family you ride, or you die. Yesterday, my brother, Meek Mill ran into some unfortunate legal issues. It happens. However, his team, our team, will continue to execute Meek’s plan as close to schedule as possible. His album is coming. We ask that the fans and the media continue to support him and his music during this time. He’ll be home soon. ‘Dreams Are Worth More Than Money,’ and family is worth more than Everything. MMG FOR LIFE.
