Frank Ocean’s New Album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ Is Reportedly Dropping Soon!

If, like us, you’re pretty bored watching Frank Ocean saw wood, then good news, because we’ve finally got concrete details on that new album of his.

According to The New York Times, Frank’s long-awaited Boys Don’t Cry LP is dropping this Friday, August 5. An unnamed source with knowledge of the release plans says the album will be an Apple Music exclusive for two weeks before getting a wider release.

The record will be accompanied by a “major video” and printed publication — also called Boys Don’t Cry — that will be available at Apple stores.

Neither Apple nor Def Jam have confirmed the report, but given there’s not another push back (there’s been quite a few already), it looks like our long, painful wait for a new Frank Ocean album will soon be over.

Chris Brown Goes on Twitter Rant About Grammys Snub: “The Awards Used To Mean Something”

Chris Brown isn’t too happy with the GRAMMY’s this year. The R&B crooner took his frustrations to Twitter about the 2016 awards show recently to express his frustration.

Despite being nominated for one GRAMMY category with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake, the Royalty vocalist wrote:

This is probably the main reason i love being free to create any kind of music I want. Too many people kiss ass And work less.”

The 26-year-old isn’t feeling the feature nomination one bit, as he continued to say in a since-deleted tweet:

If u turn on ya radio right now I promise within the hour you will hear CHRIS BROWN on damn near half the songs or I’ve cowritten. The awards used to mean something. Now it’s about likes, and memes.”

Breezy did thank his fans for always showing constant love and support, however, making it clear this is only about the GRAMMYs. “I’m thankful to my fans, I am able to be the best artist I can without having to conform to the ways of my peers. I also need my commission.”

Throughout his career, Chris Brown has been nominated for a total of 15 GRAMMYs, but has only won one in 2012 for “Best R&B Album” with F.A.M.E.

Rihanna Shares Selfie Listening to ‘ANTI,’ Wearing $9K Headphones

Only Rihanna could get away with wearing a golden headphone crown that retails for nearly $9,000. The pop star, whose fans are eagerly awaiting ANTI, her next album release, took to Twitter on Monday to share a selfie of herself listening to it. Clearly such a special occasion called for an equally special listening device.

Cue a set of golden, crystal-studded headphones attached to a gigantic crown. Because when you’re Rihanna, why not? Dolce & Gabbana is the designer behind the opulent madness. Their spring 2016 runway show was headpiece-heavy and featured model after model wearing intricate bejeweled crowns, colorful headscarves, turbans and even, yes, studded headphones.

Oftentimes the crazy accessories that appear on the runway don’t make it onto boutique shelves, but the nappa leather, Swarovski crystal– and pearl-crusted headphones RiRi’s rocking are for sale on D&G’s website for $8,895. Express shipping, however, is free. What a deal.
